About Ben Brierley:
Ben Brierley is a maker, kiln builder, educator and author, specialising in wood-fired ceramics. His work is predominantly wheel thrown, altered and assembled using stoneware and porcelain clays. By drawing inspiration from the urban environment and industrial archaeology, Ben seeks to explore the links between design, function and expression. Both functional and expressive work is fired in wood-fired cross draught kilns.
