About Brigitte Colleaux
Brigitte currently fires her pots at the Oxford University Kilns in Wytham Woods. Using stoneware clay, Brigitte creates wood-fired tableware and decorative jars that are designed to be used every day. Her recent work features pots produced through shorter firings to create a more environmentally friendly and cost-effective process. New techniques have also been implemented such as the use of high silica grasses alongside judiciously placed wadding to create patterns on the clay body.
