“I love porcelain for its whiteness and the special brightness that it can transmit. I am not interested in translucency and enjoy making forms ranging in scale from tiny sipping cups to large, jars and bowls. The way that my pieces feel to touch and hold is important to me and porcelain has a sensual, tactile quality which is very different from other clay bodies.”
