About Jeremy Steward
Jeremy Steward has made wood-fired, salt-glazed pots at Wobage Workshops in rural Herefordshire, since the summer of 1995. By balancing artistic expression with utilitarian design, Jeremy creates thrown functional-ware that captures the soft fluidity of clay, slip and raw-glaze. Jeremy uses the process of salt-glazing by adding salt along with sodium carbonate to the kiln during firing. This dynamic process creates a range of beautiful glazes that complement Jeremy’s characterful pots.
