About Sabine Nemet:
Sabine creates functional pots that are inviting to the touch and can be handled and used on a daily basis. Her pots are mainly thrown, and sometimes altered, cut and put together again. Sabine uses soda and ash in her wood kiln to create interesting reactions with the surface and slips to form her glaze. Her subtle surface textures are achieved by using carved porcelain stamps based on nature which are then pressed into the clay repeatedly.
