Throwing Taster Session- Afternoon

Give throwing a go! This taster session is aimed at people with very limited or no experience of throwing who wish to have a go. During the taster session, you will try out the basic skills and techniques needed to centre and throw basic forms. There will be a range of demonstrations followed by sessions for throwing facilitated by the Tutor. Situated in the historic Middleport Pottery, the College offers a creative environment and excellent facilities including a potter’s wheel for each student. We are not able to fire any of the pieces from this throwing taster session but if you would like to take what you have thrown, please bring a box for safe transporting.
